Dad had guns growing up, but didn’t really shoot much- a little plinking here and there. Mostly we learned safety- Dad held guns in the same category as tools, “you don’t have to be afraid of them but you have to respect what they can do”- and respect for property. I realize now just how valuable those early lessons were. Many years later a colleague talked me into taking an introductory class: I thought it would just be good instruction and a good opportunity to learn- I came home HOOKED! I was perfectly happy shooting pistol, but at a subsequent class I met an instructor that introduced me to Highpower rifle competition. That turned into a long term passion! I served as ISRPA Highpower VP from 2003 to 2016, when I stepped into the EVP role. I also spent a few years as VP Special Projects and also Membership Director. In addition to ISRPA I also serve on the Board of the Indiana Youth Shooting Sports Foundation.
We’ve come a long way from “the Good Old Days”, and I’m excited for the future of ISRPA and Indiana Shooting Sports! We’ve got a lot of great people working with a lot of great ideas and talent! Shooting Sports encompasses many different people, ages, disciplines and interests, but we all come together with a common focus in the 2A Community.
Terri Townsend

Terri Townsend is the new Women of the ISRPA Director. She is a competitive shooter with muzzle loading shotgun, and has won several state and national titles. She also shoots on the US International Muzzle Loading Team, and recently finished in the top 20 in both flint and percussion shotgun at the World Championships in Austria. Terri is the chair of the NRA Black Powder Committee and is running for NRA Board of Directors in the 2027 election. She has served on the committee to organize the first NMLRA Womens’ Weekend, as well as introducing many women to muzzle loading shotgun shooting. Her primary goal is to collaborate with the NRA and other organizations to bring more women’s events to Indiana. She also believes a strong fundraising program will benefit the ISRPA’s women’s programs as well. She welcomes ideas and volunteers to get this program area up and running.
Molly Fink

As a lifelong Indiana resident, I am proud to be part of a community that values family, tradition, and the shooting sports. I have been
married for 21 years to my high school sweetheart and am the proud mother of three children. I am the 4th generation to run my family’s flooring company.
For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of coaching a high school air rifle and smallbore shooting team. Coaching has become a true passion of mine, and I enjoy helping young athletes develop confidence, discipline, responsibility, and a lifelong appreciation for the shooting sports.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, and exploring my creative side through arts and crafts.
I am excited to be involved with the Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association, connecting with others who share a passion for shooting sports, encouraging the next generation, and helping promote opportunities for adults and youth in our community.
