Today, Governor Holcomb signed SB 176 into law. This bill strengthens protections for shooting ranges and gun stores by prohibiting counties, cities, and towns from adopting zoning, land-use, or permitting requirements that are more restrictive than state law. NRA would like to thank Governor Holcomb, the bill’s sponsors Sen. Tomes and Rep. Smaltz, and all NRA-members and supporters who engaged with their legislators to see this important range protection bill become law.
