On Saturday February 21st was the general membership meeting and there were several suggestions which resulted in changes along with some clarifications that we wanted to pass along.
- Registration
I will be the first to admit registering for a match is not the easiest thing. If you didn’t have an account you had to figure out how to do that before you registered. To register, go to https://cihprs.wildapricot.org/Match-Registration Click on the “Match Registration” tab.
We removed some stuff we added to raise our “Google Score” where we listed yardages and types of matches.
The matches are setup that if you DO NOT have an account it allows you to register and then enter in your information. Prior to this you had to create an account then register. This allows a one stop shopping.
Match Registration has been split out in the main title bar.
For the past 3 or so years w had an area at the bottom that said “Upcoming Event’s”. You always could click on this and it would bring up registration for that match. However it wasn’t very intuitive so we changed that title to Upcoming Matches- Click to Register
- Range Cards
In the past we’ve had a lot of people who have gotten range cards then have been frustrated they never were asked to use them. This year we will make sure we go to the bullpen and use those people who have their range cards. When you register we will be contacting you.
- Dual match days
There are some times where we run two matches in one day. Current example Mid Range followed by 300m, 3×1000 followed by Across the course, or the 3-5-6-6-6 mid range that we are no longer running. When you register for the 300m or the Across the Course you will see regular match fees for the day ($35 member / $45 non-member) and then you will see the fee of $10 for having already shot for that day. There was some misconception that we were charging people double for both matches.
