NRA election ballots will go out at the end of January in the February issues of American Rifleman or American Hunter, and Indiana State Rifle & Pistol Association members have three outstanding reasons to vote: Charlie Hiltunen, Alex Carroll, and Kyle Hupfer. All three Hoosiers are on the ballot as part of the NRA 2.0 reform movement, nominated by the NRA 2.0 Nominating Committee and committed to securing the future of OUR organization. Even if you receive digital versions or other NRA publications, all voting members will receive the hard-copy version of one of the two magazines with your ballot. See www.electanewnra.com for more details.
What Is NRA 2.0?
NRA 2.0 is a member-driven reform effort within the NRA that is working to restore integrity, transparency, and a laser focus on the core mission: defending the Second Amendment while supporting training, competitive shooting, and firearm safety and education. Last year, NRA 2.0 Board Members achieved a majority on the Board, elected a new slate of officers, appointed Chairs to all NRA Committees, and balanced the NRA budget to stabilize the organization. These reformers are dedicated to rebuilding trust with the membership and returning the NRA to its core mission of marksmanship, safety, training, and Second Amendment advocacy. The NRA is a foundational organization that America cannot afford to lose, and these reform candidates are ready to meet the challenges facing us head-on with integrity and transparency.
The NRA 2.0 Candidate Slate
The full NRA 2.0 slate for the 2026 NRA Board elections is presented on ElectanewNRA.com, where each endorsed candidate has a photo, bio, and statement of priorities. On that site, members can see who each candidate is, where they come from, and what they stand for, including their work in firearms training, competitive shooting, industry, and grassroots advocacy. NRA 2.0 has identified 22 endorsed candidates who, taken together, support its mission and reform agenda, and they ask members to vote for the complete team on their ballot. For ISRPA members, supporting the NRA 2.0 slate is a direct way to ensure that Indiana’s voice is part of rebuilding the NRA as a stronger, more member-focused organization.
How to Cast Your Vote
Visit ElectanewNRA.com to see the complete list of 22 NRA 2.0 endorsed candidates and their bios. When you receive your ballot in mid-January, completely fill in the circle next to each candidate’s name with a pen or pencil. Mail your completed ballot to ensure it is in the NRA Secretary’s hands by the March 29, 2026 deadline. With historically low voter turnout—just under 3% of eligible voters participated in 2023—your vote can truly make a difference in determining the 25 board members elected.
They Will Fight for You—But They Need Your Vote
These reform candidates are here to serve the members, pledging to fight for the Second Amendment and bring the NRA back to the mission and core values that made it the great organization it once was. But without your support and vote, they can’t win that fight. Together, Indiana members can build back trust and ensure strong representation on the NRA Board—so don’t forget to vote when your ballot arrives. Thank you in advance for your vote!
