For the fourth year in a row the LMPAC has sponsored the Top Gun Match at the Silver Creek Conservation Club in Sellersburg. Eighty-five officers from local, state and federal agencies competed. Blind draw prizes included 45 guns and various other items with the minimum value of $300 each. There were eleven stages where officers used their service weapons and other weapons provided to engage real world scenarios. As usual it is the sponsors, donations and volunteers that make a great match possible.
Pictured above are the officers and sponsor for the New Albany/Floyd County Team. Members are (L-R); front row kneeling, NAPD Officers Andrew Byrne, Brian Reardon and his son Carter, second row, Army Reservist Blake Cecil, NAPD officers Capt. Rick Denny, Chad Armenta and Dean Lyninger, back row, Floyd County Sheriff's Department Officer Brad Scott, Two Brothers Firearms owner Charlie Missi and Kasey Cunningham. |
