Too good to be true? Read on.

The Indiana Youth Shooting Sports Foundation in conjunction with Midway USA Foundation and Larry and Brenda Potterfield, founders and owners of Midway USA make it possible for any high school or college to do just that.

Any high school or college that has an active shooting team or program, or plans to implement one, can take advantage of this offer until December 31, 2011.

The institution needs to raise at least $1000. They then send that to IYSSF who will match the school's initial contribution. Both checks will then be sent to Midway USA Foundation which will also match the school's initial contribution and Midway USA will then deposit all the money into the Scholastic Shooting Trust in the name of the school involved. That money will be the start of that school's personal endowment which they can add to at any time. In addition to that, as a caveat, Larry and Brenda Potterfield have agreed to donate an additional $5000 to that school's endowment fund!

EXAMPLE:

ABC School raises                        $1000

IYSSF matches School's                     $1000

Midway USA Foundation matches School's             $1000

Larry and Brenda Potterfield graciously donate         $5000

TOTAL    $8000

The school would be allowed to withdraw a maximum of 5% of its endowment at the end of a one year period and use that money to support their shooting program.
