Highpower Rifle Events
ISRPA sponsors NRA sanctioned Highpower Rifle matches at Camp Atterbury
near Edinburgh. A variety of competitive events including regional
course, team, state and regional championship matches are held during
the months of April through September. These matches are fired with
either a service or match rifle at distances from 100 to 1,000 yards.
Junior and adult teams are supported at the National Championships,
held each year at Camp Perry, Ohio.
Highpower State Championships
An NRA Regional Championship is held in June. State Championship
tournaments are held in August. An across the course 80-round and
separate 1000 yd. championship are held at Camp Atterbury. A 100
yd. 80-round championship is held at the Hoosier Hills Rifle & Pistol
Club facility near Gnawbone. Pre-registration for the 1000 and 100
yd. events is recommended due to limited firing points.
In addition to the ISRPA matches, there are over one hundred opportunities
to participate in Highpower Rifle Matches at local clubs across
Indiana each year. Any of these club matches will fulfill the CMP
requirement to fire 50 rounds in Highpower Rifle competition prior
to purchasing a CMP Garand. Dates are subject to change or cancellation.
Please confirm with the match director all dates and type of match
before traveling.
